Week Commencing March 8, 2021
*all dates and times are AEST
This week will have a slower energy, with the Waning Crescent Moon encouraging us to rest, several long Void Moons giving us the chance to reflect and nourish ourselves, then the Dark Moon calling us to go inward in preparation for the New Moon on Saturday. In other astro weather, the strong aspect of Saturn Square Uranus which could bring some tensions, especially when it comes to creativity as well as Mercury conjunct with Jupiter which could help with bringing a positive mindset and expansive outlook on our lives. Let’s look in more detail at what we can expect from the lunar energy and mood this week.
Waning Crescent Moon in Capricorn
On Monday, the Waning Crescent Moon in Capricorn continues which means we will be focused on all the things we want to achieve. Things might feel quite serious, so tap into that drive to work on your schedule and plans and take action to reach your goals and get to work. You will feel great at the end of the day when you can tick some things off your to-do list. You might find you feel a bit lacking in emotions, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it means you can be practical and focus on what needs to get done in a calm and steady way but be wary of being too distant and listen to your heart as all.
As the Moon is in its Waning Crescent phase, be careful of not getting swept up in the Capricorn energy and over-working yourself. Energy levels will be waning along with the Moon, so take some time to also relax. Diffuse a few drops of Arbovitae to help you to relax and go with the flow, it is a very grounding oil that is particularly useful when trying to control everything and be too ambitious.
Void-of-course Moon
On Tuesday, the Moon will be Void-of-course for around 7.5 hours from 10:52am - 5:40pm. Remember that Void periods are not good for starting new things, as they may end up with no result and you should avoid making big decisions, signing contracts, and having important meetings. It’s best to take time out to relax, do menial tasks and to even do a general clean and tidy. On Tuesday night the Moon will be stationed in quirky and humanitarian Aquarius.
Waning Crescent Moon in Aquarius
On Wednesday the Waning Crescent Moon will be in Aquarius all day and may inspire you to get out into the community or to get together with like-mined friends, to be social and to share your thoughts about the things that matter most to you. Things can be quite fun yet unpredictable with Aquarius Moons and be prepared to be spontaneous. The clear-headedness from the Capricorn Moon will continue to dominate over how you feel, again be careful of not being too detached. You may prefer to work on your own things at your own pace, and to do work that involves you to think critically and outside the box.
With this waning Moon phase don’t start on new things, continue to work on what you have been doing and maybe even take time to research or learn about something that interests you. Diffuse Ylang-Ylang to assist with opening up your heart if you do feel a bit detached emotionally on this Aquarius Moon.
Void-of-course Moon
On Thursday will be another long Void Moon from 1:31pm - 12:44pm AEST. The Void Moon advice applies for most of Thursday, so start preparing for the end of the lunar month with some journaling, reflection and review time. It will also be great to take time out to meditate and spend time in nature. The Aromatouch blend is a good one for bringing out about feelings of relaxation during the Void Moon.
Dark Moon in Pisces
There will be the Dark Moon in intuitive Pisces on Friday, signalling the closing out of the lunation. You may feel things are a bit heavy and overly emotional for you on Friday. If this is the case, turn to creative outlets to express some of those emotions artistically. Go easy on yourself and if you feel like taking a nap or soaking in the tub in the afternoon then listen to what your body is seeking and just go for it without guilt.
Dark Moons are best to rest and chill and trying to push through and make big decisions will only make things difficult. Take time to go for a walk outdoors, listen to relaxing music and reflect on the lessons you have learned from this last lunar cycle. A blend of Frankinsence and Clary Sage would be perfect for dropping into your intuition and connecting with your spirituality on this Dark Moon.

New Moon in Pisces
On Saturday will be the New Moon in Pisces, a time that will really feel like an extension of the Dark Moon the previous two days. The New Moon will be exact at 8:21pm AEST and will join the Sun, spiritual Neptune and romantic Venus in Pisces, a stellium that will add to the dreaminess and emotional sensitivity of this Pisces Moon.
Use this New Moon to integrate everything from the past month and to really listen to what your heart desires as you and start to prepare your new Moon intentions. Be mindful of your emotions being super-charged and allow yourself to tap into what your intuition is telling you as it too will be heightened during this Moon. Don’t be afraid to dream big, and tune into your subconscious.
The astro energies on Pisces Moons are always great for daydreaming and using your imagination as well as for getting creative and artsy, and this New Moon you will feel this even more. So get out your paints or clay or drawing set or get started on a new art project. With the strong intuition you will feel, it is good to use your tarot or oracle cards to support you with your dreaming, and just rest as much as you feel the need to.
Don’t forget to set your intentions and do the New Moon Mapping in your My Unstoppable Life journal. The beautiful oil blend Align from the Yoga Collection would be a great oil to work with on this Pisces New Moon.
Waxing Crescent Moon in Aries
On Sunday the Moon will be Void from 2:37am until 9:43am and will then be stationed in go-getting Aries. There will be a collective shift in energy as the Moon starts to wax, and the passionate and energising Aries vibes spurs us into action after all that slow dreaminess of the week. This is perfect for getting started on the things you put on hold but be mindful of taking things too fast and being too spontaneous and taking risks.
Aries Moons can make us feel restless and impatient, so be careful in your communications and release the excess energy you may feel by being active ad keeping busy on things that you will see a clear result from doing. Any of those New Moon intentions you set would be great to start taking action on while the Moon is in Aries. Use the blend Balance for extra support in grounding your energies and to connect with your intentions and commit to seeing them through.
